Washburn Island is a 330-acre (1.3 km2) island off the coast of East Falmouth, Massachusetts. It is home to some primitive campsites and is part of the Waquoit Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve. It is part of the Town of Falmouth, in Barnstable County.

During World War II, the island was home to Camp Washburn.
History
The island was one of the last undeveloped coastal properties on Cape Cod. Washburn Island is bordered by the Seapit River and Eel Pond. Artifacts dating back 450–1000 years, including hammer flakes and shell middens, have been found on the island.
