Warriors of Faith (Czech: Jan Roháč z Dubé) is a 1947 Czech historical film by Vladimír Borský. It is the first Czech film in colours. It is based on a play by Alois Jirásek. It premiered in Prague on 28 March 1947. The premiere was attended by Czechoslovak president Edvard Beneš.

  • Plot

    The film is set after Battle of Lipany in which Radical Hussites are defeated. Only Jan Roháč rejects to surrender. He gathers his loyal ones in Sion castel and organises resistance against King Sigismund. The castle is sieged and eventually conquered after a heavy fight. Jan Roháč is captured and hanged on Sigismund's orders. It angers Czech people who start uprising against Sigismund who is forced to run away.
