Warren Masilamony is a Singaporean television producer, director and actor. He graduated from Wilfrid Laurier University in Ontario, Canada before moving to Australia in 2009. He is best known for co-producing Zoom TV on the Seven Network and creating Australia's first cake decoration reality TV series, Roxanne's Cake House.

Masilamony began his career by acting in Singapore's Mediacorp Channel 5 series; Without Warning in 2006. He was also a top 10 finalist in the Mr Singapore Manhunt pageant in the same year. Ironically, his next appearance on Singapore television would only be 10 years later as a special guest on the national day special of the "Rusiyo Rusi" travel-cooking show on 9 August 2016. He co-hosted the episode with the flamboyant Kumar (Singaporean entertainer).

In 2013, he began work on The Buzz, an Australian live television program about social media and celebrity news. He directed 35 episodes of the show, which featured former Seven Network Australia presenter Candice Barnes. The final episode was a one-hour Christmas special that aired on 20 December 2013 on West TV.

His other producer/director credits include Undercurrent (2010–2015), Live Twist (2014), Friday Night Live (2013), Beyond Gardens Live (2013), Turn It Up WA (2012). He also produced and directed Australian Wrestling Stars (2015). This WWE-style pro-wrestling TV show featured former World Wrestling Entertainment(WWE) Superstars Carlito, Chris Masters, Shelton Benjamin & Ken Anderson.

In June 2016, he appeared in an episode of the controversial dating reality TV show Kiss, Bang, Love on Channel 7 Australia. In the show, he kissed fellow contestant Jess Broughan whilst being blind-folded.

Masilamony is presently the News Studio Director for the Daily News with Russell Goodrick on WTV Australia.

Awards and Nominations

Masilamony was awarded the Best Live TV Production at the 26th West Australian Screen Awards on 14 July 2014 for directing The Buzz television show. In the same year, he also won the Antenna Award for Outstanding Factual, Current Affairs or Interview Program for producing Undercurrent.

In July 2013, Masilamony won Best Live TV Production for directing Friday Night Live at the West Australian Screen Awards 2013. He also picked up two other nominations for directing The Buzz and Beyond Gardens Live in the same category.

Personal Life

Warren Masilamony is reportedly involved in a prospective arranged marriage with Indian television actress Daljeet Kaur Bhanot since 2017.
