Walter H. Stuerzinger (born 6 July 1955). is a Swiss businessman. Mr Stuerzinger is Chief Operating Officer, Corporate Center at UBS AG.

Biography

Steurzinger holds a Swiss banking diploma and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants. He worked with Credit Suisse on various assignments in the controlling and auditing areas. Before the UBS AG merger, he was Head Group Internal Audit at the former Union Bank of Switzerland and was Head Group Internal Audit from 1998 until 2001, and then Group Chief Risk Officer from 2001 until 2007. He joined the Group Executive Board at UBS AG in 2005. He was appointed Chief Operating Officer, Corporate Center in October 2007.
