Wai Chee Dimock, William Lampson Professor of English and American Studies at Yale University, has written widely on American literature. Editor of PMLA (Publications of the Modern Language Association of America, and a film critic for the Los Angeles Review of Books, her work has also appeared in Critical Inquiry, the Chronicle of Higher Education, the New Yorker. and the New York Times.
