Waddepalle or Waddepally is a Village and Mandal in Jogulamba Gadwala district, Telangana. The population of the village is more than 4000.In Waddepally there is a small hill it has height of 50 mts from ground level of the village.and 90% of village in the part of hill.near there was a small town called Shanthi Nagar(Waddepally&Shanthi nagar having one municipality) from waddepally(8km) the thunga bahdra barrage was constructed in sunkesula(kurnool).Waddepally is one of the border Mandals for Telangana State and Andhrapradesh State..This mandal is famous for cultivation of Sona Masuri rice. Main occupation of the people here is agriculture . Most of the farm lands are irrigated by RDS canal 26.

The TSRTC & APSRTC & KSRTC runs the buses Running Buses from Raichur to Kurnool& Kurnool to Ija,Gadwal to shanthi nagar formthere we take Auto or Bike to Reach the Waddepally not more than 2km.

The South Cental Railway runs the trains form Hydrabad to Kurnnol (Thungabadra, Handri Express, Intercity, Chennai Egmor, etc) We can step down at Jogulamaba Halt to Reach Waddepally (shanthinagar).
