Waaksamheyd was a Dutch 300 ton burthen snow that was hired to transport supplies to the colony of New South Wales. Under the command of Deter Smit, the vessel transported supplies to Port Jackson in 1790 from Batavia (Jakarta). Captain John Hunter was transported back to England in 1792 on board the Waaksamheyd.
