The station is currently owned by the Lakota Local School District. The station ID is 89.9 FM in the Greater Cincinnati Area.

History

The Lakota Local School District formerly used it for students. It had live programming during school hours and on Saturday. All other shows were taped.

In July 2013, WLHS began a simulcast of WMKV-FM 89.3, owned by Maple Knoll Communities.

Programming

Weekday Programming: Big band music is aired in the early hours, 12-5 in the morning, and at 5 am, they air taped programming for shows. At 6 AM, Good Morning Cincinnati on Local 12 is simulcasted, and the 7 am Good Morning Cincinnati airs right afterwards. After that big band music is played until noon, when Hollywood Radio theater airs and after that taped programing. At 6 pm, Local 12 news at 6 is simulcast, and following is WMKV means business. At 7 pm Mystery Theater airs, consisting of The Whistler and 'Suspense!"" Big band music continues all night.
