WAMI-FM broadcasts a classic country music format and features select programming from Citadel Media.
Construction permit
More than two years after the January 2007 initial application, WAMI-FM was granted a construction permit on March 3, 2009, to change its community of license to Fort Deposit, Alabama, upgrade from class A to class C1, increase its effective radiated power to 100,000 watts, raise its broadcast antenna to 218 meters in height above average terrain, and significantly increase its coverage area. This permit expires on March 3, 2012.
