Vulcănești ([vulkəˈneʃtʲ]; Gagauz: Valkaneş) is a town in Gagauzia, Moldova. Vulcanesti is the southern exclave of Gagauzia surrounded by the Cahul District (Moldova) and Odessa Region (Ukraine).
