Volleyball will be contested at the 2011 Summer Universiade from August 12 to August 22 at the Shenzhen Gym and surrounding venues in Shenzhen, China.

Men
The men's tournament will take place on August 12 – 17 and August 19 – 22. Twenty-two teams will participate in the men's tournament.
Women
The women's tournament will take place on August 14 – 16 and August 18 – 21. Sixteen teams will participate in the men's tournament.
