Lubarov, Vladimir Semenovich (4 September 1944 year, Moscow) —Russian painter and graphic artist. Member of the Union of Artists of Russia since 1985.

Work

Working as a schedule, he illustrated and designed more than 100 books. In 1993, the British publisher Appletree Press published the Chris Scilly's book «Russian Proverbs» («Русские пословицы") illustrated by Lubarov.

Paintings of Lubarov are divided into series. The main series is "Village Peremilovo", his first cycle was completed in 1995 and includes about 300 works.

In 2011, Lubarov published a book of his short stories "Stories. Picture". In 2014 a second book called "The Feast for no reason". In the design of both books are used pictures from different series.
