Vitangelo Spadavecchia (born 25 November 1982) is an Italian former footballer who played as a goalkeeper.
Spadavecchia joined Pescara on 25 August 2006.
In December 2009 A.S. Bari released the reserve goalkeeper, he joined third division club A.S. Andria BAT in January 2010.
On 11 October 2011 Spadavecchia was banned 3 years and 3 months for match fixing (until 1 January 2015). The suspected match was on 5 April 2009, S.S. Juve Stabia 1–0 Sorrento Calcio, . His former teammate Cristian Biancone also banned, along with Roberto Amodio (sports director of Juve Stabia) and Antonino Castellano (president of Sorrento). Spadavecchia appealed, but dismissed by Corte di Giustizia Federale of FIGC and Tribunale Nazionale di Arbitrato per lo Sport of CONI.
