Vistra is a group company of Vistra Group, which employs over 2,600 professionals in 42 countries, global headquarters are in Hong Kong. Vistra Group Companies include Vistra, a specialist service providing tailored trust, fiduciary, fund and corporate services, and OIL, service provider in international incorporations, company formation and post-incorporation support across global jurisdictions, as well as the company incorporation service providers NovaSage and TAKA.
History
Vistra was founded in 2006 through the buy-in of the private client business of Chiltern in London and Jersey by the former management team of Fortis Intertrust.
In 2009 IK Investment Partners (formerly known as Industri Kapital), a European private equity firm acquired a majority stake in Vistra Group.
In 2011, Vistra merged with OIL, a provider of international incorporations and corporate services.
In 2015, Baring Private Equity Asia completes deal to acquire majority stake in Vistra Group.
In 2016, Vistra Group marked its India entry with the acquisition of IL&FS Trust Company Limited.
