The Virginia Sports Hall of Fame and Museum is a sports hall of fame located in Portsmouth, Virginia. Founded in 1972, it moved to its current location in 2005. More than 300 athletes, coaches, administrators, members of the media and others have been inducted into the hall.
Contents
The museum also features interactive exhibits which allow children to test their skills in basketball, football, baseball, soccer and more. There are nine exhibit areas featuring twenty sports.
