Education

The village hosts a part of the Elementary School Ilača-Banovci (Croatian: Osnovna škola Ilača-Banovci), and the school in Vinkovački Banovci is the smallest of the three campuses. In a family setting students finish the first four years of their education. After that go to school in Banovci or Ilača.

Languages

Due to the local minority population, the Nijemci municipality allows the use of not only Croatian as the official language, but the Serbian language and Serbian Cyrillic alphabet as well in Vikovački Banovci.
