Vincenzo Natoli was a chief justice to the Supreme Court who also ascended to the rank of Marquess, thanks to King Charles III of Spain.. He was born in Sant'Angelo in 1690 and lived in Palermo.

Biography

The Marquess Natoli was the acting chief justice of the grand criminal court from 1730 to 1734. In 1740, he was elevated to the minister of justice of Messina. On April 10, 1748, he was a "Real Consultore" (Royal Advisor) in Naples, and on July 10, 1751, he became president of the Royal Heritage (Real Patrimonio). He served as chairman of the Civil and Criminal High Court from April 1758 to April 1761.

He contributed to the creation of Palermo's master plan with personal investments and built a palace dedicated to his wife, Palazzo Natoli, although she died before its completion.

The Marquess Natoli died in Palermo the October 21, 1770 and was buried in the Catacombs of Cemetery of the Capuchin.

Family

Vincenzo Natoli first married Angela Piola , his second wife was Maria Sieripopoli (11 June 1698), daughter of Baron Mangiadain, widow of Gaspare Ramondetta. He was the father of Artali and Piola who married Eleonora Ramondetta, daughter of Gaspare and Maria Sieripopoli, also him high magistrate, judge of the High Civil Court in 1752-54.

Vincenzo Natoli died in Palermo on December 11, 1768 and was buried by the will the father in the Catacombs of Cemetery of the Capuchin.
