Personal life

Vincent Pontare is the son of Roger Pontare and Elisabeth Pontare. His father is a Swedish musician who took part in Eurovision Song Contest twice representing Sweden with "Stjärnorna" (1994, in a duet with Marie Bergman) and "When Spirits Are Calling My Name" (2000), placing 13th and 7th, respectively in the competition.

He has two brothers, Jimmy Åkerlund his senior and Viktor his junior. He presently resides in Vasastan in Stockholm.

Vincent began dating Swedish singer Agnes Carlsson in 2009. The couple's engagement was announced in April 2013.
