Vikram Kadian (aka Raju) (born 30 December 1974) is an Indian politician and social activist, belonging to the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP). He unsuccessfully contested as BJP’s candidate from Beri constituency in the Haryana Legislative Assembly election, 2014.

Early life and education

Kadian was born in Village Baghpur, Jhajjar district and is the son of Advocate Om Prakash Beri. His father twice represented the beri assembly as an MLA. His uncle Sher Singh was one of the founding fathers of the state of Haryana and a statesman who held various positions at state and center level during his long political career. Kadian did his elementary education from Government Senior Secondary School, Jhajjar, graduation from Nehru Post Graduate Government College (Affiliated to Maharshi Dayanand University), Jhajjar before earning his Advanced Diploma in computing, equivalent to M.Sc.(Master in Science). He took up few commercial ventures before entering politics and becoming involved in social activism. He is married and has two children.

Political career

Following the tradition of politics and social activism in his family, Kadian started his work as a social activist in the beri region of Haryana under the tutelage of his father.

He commenced his political career by contesting the Haryana Legislative Assembly election in 2014. He unsuccessfully contested on a BJP ticket from Beri constituency in Jhajjar district.
