Life

Ntetema was born in Tanzania in about 1959. She worked as a bureau chief for BBC Radio in her home country. She came to notice when she broke a story about the murder of albino people in Tanzania and Burundi. She required around the clock protection and had to leave the country twice for her own protection. Ntetema discovered that witch doctors believed that albino people had magical powers. She later left the BBC and led a charity called Under the Same Sun to address the problems of albino people.
