Version 1 is an international management consulting, managed services, software development, and outsourcing company. Established in 1996 by Justin Keatinge and John Mullen, its registered headquarters are in Dublin, Ireland.

Formation
Established in Dublin, Ireland in 1996 by CEO Justin Keatinge and John Mullen, Version 1 began with two employees and revenues of €60,000. By the following year, Version 1 had five employees and revenues of €300,000. By the end of 1999, Version 1 had 16 employees; had branched into the UK market; and achieved revenues of €1m. In 2000, Version 1 established their Managed Services practice and, in 2002, was listed in the Deloitte & Touche Ireland Technology Fast 50. By the end of 2006, Version 1 had more than 100 employees and reached annual revenues of €10m.
In the years leading up to 2011, Version 1 acquired Prose Software; appointed Anthuan Xavier Chairman; acquired PM Centrix; opened their Cork, Ireland office; became the first Oracle Platinum Partner in Ireland; was named in the Deloitte Fast 50; employed more than 150 professionals; and reached annual revenues of €17.5m.
By the end of 2012, Version 1 had opened its current Dublin City Centre headquarters; established its Oracle Centre of Excellence in Belfast, Northern Ireland; was awarded Microsoft Partner of the Year; became the first European organization to achieve ISO 20000-1:2011 accreditation; was awarded Company of the Year at the ICT Excellence Awards; was recognized as an Amazon Web Services Consulting Partner and a Deloitte Best Managed Company; received its first recognition as a Great Place to Work®; won the Private Sector IT Project of the Year award; and reached annual revenues of €30m.
In 2014, Version 1 opened its London, UK office; expanded its Belfast, NI office; acquired UK-based Tieto Corporation; was recognized as one of the top 50 workplaces in Europe; acquired UK-based Rocela Group; was recognized as a Deloitte Best Managed Company; acquired UK-based Patech Solutions; had a total of eight international offices employing more than 500 consultants; and reached annual revenues of €60m.
Community Trust
In 2014, Version 1 initiated a Community Trust program, which supports local and global charitable and sports organizations. Grants are given out to 10 or more worthy causes four times a year, ranging in value from €500 to €5,000. Each quarter, video entries are open to a public vote that determines which causes receive the grants available. Voting takes place on the Version 1 Facebook site. One 2015 winner was DEBRA Ireland, which won a grant of €3,500.
