Verkhniodniprovsk (Ukrainian: Верхньодніпровськ, [βɛrxnʲɔdnʲipˈrɔwsʲk]; Russian: Верхнеднепровск) is a city in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast (province) of Ukraine. It serves as the administrative center of the Verkhniodniprovsk Raion (district). The city is located at confluence of the Samotkan River into the Dniprodzerzhynsk Reservoir at the Dnieper River. Population: 16,885 (2013 est.). In 2001, the population was 16,976.
