History

Ve Interactive was first established in October 2009 as a technology startup by David J. Brown, a British entrepreneur. Today it operates offices in 28 countries around the world. Some of this growth has been organic, however the company has also expanded through a number of acquisitions:

  • June 2012: Ve acquired Adaptive Consultancy, making Ve’s platform the world’s first eCommerce software to have both remarketing technology and built-in basket recovery.
  • April 2014: Ve acquired adGenie, a prospecting and retargeting advertising solution provider.
  • November 2014: Ve acquired GDM Digital, an adtech and digital advertising company, for £7 million. All their staff were transferred over to Ve's team.
  • November 2014: Ve acquired Qunb, a Paris-based data visualisation start-up, for $12 million, adding all their staff to Ve's Paris office.
  • December 2015: Ve acquired the Display Retargeting business from eBay Enterprise Marketing Solutions.
  • September 2016: Ve acquired video advertising company Optomaton for the sum of €5.13m, for cash and shares in Ve.
  • December 2016: Ve acquired London-based media agency Crave & Lamb (established in 2012) for the sum of £3m.

    A portion of Ve Interactive’s funding comes from a group of Angel Investors.

    Ve's products help e-commerce clients get more from their websites by enabling online businesses to acquire, engage and convert new and existing customers. These products include programmatic video, display prospecting and re-targeting, onsite real-time engagement and email remarketing, via an integrated platform.

    The company tracks billions of e-commerce transactions daily and supports about 10,000 online businesses and retailers. This data set provides insight and analytics that can be used by clients.

    Recognition

    The company has been recognised with an array of industry awards since it was founded. Most recently these include, 2015 - Winner of Sunday Times Tech Track 100 Award, 2016 -Honoured with three Stevie Awards in American Business Awards and 2016 – Honoured for its ‘Digital Transformation’ at Microsoft Forum.

    Corporate Social Responsibility

    At the start of 2016, Ve Interactive nominated Macmillan Cancer Support as their charity partner for the year. From 2013-2015 Ve were partnered with Concern Universal – the international development charity.
