Lee made his professional debut on 22 February 2003 against Philly San at Cage Rage 2. He lost by TKO in the second round. Over the next few years Lee compiled a record of 11-6-1.

In his UFC debut, Lee faced Chris Cariaso on 5 October 2011 at UFC 138, losing via split decision.
