Dr. Vasyl Filipchuk (born 1971) is a Ukrainian diplomat, former spokesman of the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine (2005–2006)and Director of the EU Integration Department in the Secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine (2012–2013). He has the 3rd civil service rank and the Envoy Extraordinary and Minister Plenipotentiary diplomatic rank of the second class. Since 2014 - Chairman of the Board of the International Centre for Policy Studies (ICPS). In June 2014 he defended PhD thesis on European integration in Ukraine and since 2015 he has been a lecturer on UN peacekeeping and preventive diplomacy at the Diplomatic academy of Ukrainian foreign ministry.
