Varun Toorkey is an Indian television actor and model. He has starred in the television series Uttaran and in the third season of Qubool Hai as Shaad Aftab Khan. He is also known for the main lead role in the series Humko Tumse Ho Gaya Hai Pyaar Kya Karein as Tushar Mallick. He has also acted in various commercials.

Personal life
Varun Toorkey was born on 8 January 1990 in Mumbai. His parents are Khushroo Toorkey and Niloofer Toorkey. He has one brother, Zubin Toorkey. He belongs to Parsi community.
He did his schooling in Bombay Cambridge School, JB Nagar, Mumbai and graduated from Mithibai college with a B.com degree.
Varun has attained training in acting from Anupam Kher's 'Actor Prepares'. Currently his relationship status is single according to him. But he is rumoured to be dating his co-star Surbhi Jyoti from Qubool Hai
Career
Varun Toorkey was just 16 years of age when he got his first break into the industry, in a compilation album called Ustad and the divas. In that album, he acted as a computer professional in the song Leja Leja Re which was sung by Shreya Goshal and Ustad Sultan Khan. The album released in the year 2006.
He made his television debut in the year 2013, playing the role of a village man called Sankrant in the popular long running series Uttaran which aired on colors channel . In Uttaran, he acted alongside many popular actors such as Tina Dutta, Rashmi Desai and Mrunal Jain.
His second stint in tellywood happened in March 2015 when he was selected to acted in a popular series, Qubool hai which aired on zee TV. In the show, he played the role of a Pakistani military man, Shaad Aftad Khan opposite actress Surbhi Jyoti. His role ended in August 2015 when the show took a leap of 20 years.
Varun has played the male lead in the show Humko Tumse Ho Gaya Hai Pyaar Kya Karein which aired on Star Plus at 8.30 pm. He plays the role of Tushar Malik, a wealthy guy who longs for love. His co-actress in the show is a new face, Ishani Sharma.
Apart from television shows Varun has also done many commercials for popular brands like Raymond and Pizza Hut.
