Valerie mulcahy scores a point for cork 2014 all ireland senior ladies gaelic football final
Valerie Mulcahy is an Irish Gaelic footballer who formerly played inter-county football with Cork. She won ten All-Ireland titles with her county team. In 2015, she became the first elite female star of Gaelic games to speak publicly about being gay. In 2016, she announced her retirement from the Cork football team. She is a secondary teacher and is an executive member of the ladies' version of the Gaelic Players Association.
