VN-Zoom is a forum about computer and technology, such as Windows, computer hardware, video game, and mobile phone. VN-Zoom is also famous for uploading pirated software.

Access and limits

VN-Zoom is public and free-access for everyone on the Internet from Vietnam. But if a visitor wants to create a new topic or create a new article in a topic, they must register to become a user of the forum so they can do certain tasks like create a new topic or create a new article. New user also doesn't have some advanced features of forum like creating a new topic or thanks to a person on the forum, the user must have create more than 5 articles to thanks and more than 10 articles to create a new topic.

Restrict users from foreign countries

If VN-Zoom sees that the IP address of the visitor is not from Vietnam, the website will block access to VN-Zoom from that visitor. If the visitor is not from Vietnam and wants to have access to the site, the visitor must hide the IP address using software like Hotspot Shield or SafeIP.

User with a spam or violated topic or article can be banned forever.

VN-Zoom is a famous forum for uploading unauthorized copies of software, games and films. This content is shared by users on the forum and can be downloaded easily. Because of this, VN-Zoom has received several DMCA copyright claims from software publishers.

Trouble with Google Search

VN-Zoom is restricted by Google Search for its focus on unlicensed distribution. Google identified VN-Zoom as a malicious website and made VN-Zoom pages not show in search results. If users want to see VN-Zoom's content in a search, they should add the "vn-zoom" keyword behind the keyword that they want to find. Sometimes, when users click on the VN-Zoom link from Google in Google Chrome, Google identifies VN-Zoom as a malicious website and recommends that users not visit this page.
