The Ussuri whiskered bat (Myotis gracilis) is a species of vesper bat. It is found in Russia (eastern Siberia, Primorye, Transbaikal, Sakhalin, the Kuril Islands, and Kamchatka), northeast China, and Japan (Hokkaido). In Japan, it is regarded as endangered. As of August 2012, this species has not been assessed for the IUCN Red List.

Description

While similar to Ikonnikov's bat, this species is distinguished by a straight venation pattern on the tail membrane.

Habitat

Forest dwelling, but their roosts are unknown. Maternity colonies have been found in old wooden buildings in Hokkaido. Hibernation sites are also unknown.
