On May 11, 2012, AT&T U-verse signed a carriage agreement with Univision Communications to carry the channel, along with Univision Deportes Network.
Programming
Programming for Univision tlnovelas is filled by Televisa's telenovela library, including telenovelas which have previously never aired in the United States.
Carriage disputes
Univision tlnovelas, Univision, UniMás, Galavisión and Univision Deportes Network were dropped by AT&T U-verse on March 4, 2016, due to a carriage dispute. This did not affected DirecTV customers (also a subsidiary of AT&T) as this was done in a different contract. Univision tlnovelas along with the rest of Univison's networks and channels were later returned to the U-verse lineup on March 24, 2016.
