University of Poonch is a public university located in The Pearl Valley, Rawalakot, Azad Jammu & Kashmir, Pakistan, one of the most attractive places of Azad Jammu and Kashmir. It consists of four Campuses including The main campus, Gurudawara campus, City campus and Mong campus. A new campus is under construction on a distance of about 15 km from rawalakot city in Chottagala. The university of Poonch, comprises 7 faculties and 25 departments supervised by experienced mentors. Students from all over Pakistan, including Punjab, Kpk, sindh are currently studying in UPR. Students from Gilgit Baltistan are also present in a large number. The scenic view of hill tops, streams and beautiful downtown markets in Rawalakot make the view very enchanting for the students to carry on their routine work in their respective campuses present in all over the city premises.
