University Choice Television is a UK based IPTV channel that outlines options available to 15- to 21-year-olds regarding their futures.

Anyone can log on for free, in order to see videos from a selection of UK universities, which summarize life at that particular university through a number of short, video clips. One can see a clip about student life, accommodation, facilities or studying at that institution. Short video clips are also available on different subjects that one can study at university but might not have had the chance to study at school or college.

The University Choice Television (UCTV) website also offers advice to students in the UK, as well as European and international students. With new 'top-up' fees applying to UK students, there is also a section that has links to the pages on university websites that detail all types of funding available to those students.

UCTV helps students choose what to study at university, where to go to university, and offers answers to all sorts of common student worries and concerns. Never again do students have to ask the questions, "What university?", "Which university?", "Where should I go to university?" or "What should I study at university?", because UCTV helps them make these crucial life changing decisions.

UCTV is a particularly useful tool for any university in the UK that wants to be seen as taking active steps to widen its participation. It works by communicating a message to young people in a way that they want to be communicated with - video. IPTV is due to take off, as people change the way they watch television, and increasingly use the Internet as a source of entertainment as well as information.
