United Nations LRT station, also known as UN Avenue LRT station, is a station on the Manila LRT (LRT-1). Like all other LRT-1 stations, United Nations station is above-ground. The station serves Ermita in Manila and is located at the corner of Taft and United Nations Avenues. The station is named after United Nations Avenue, which in turn is named after the United Nations.

United Nations station serves as the thirteenth station for LRT-1 trains headed for Baclaran and as the eighth station for trains headed to Roosevelt.
Nearby landmarks
It is the closest station to one of Manila's major landmarks, Rizal Park, named after the Philippine national hero, José Rizal. Because of its position near Rizal Park, the station is close to many government offices, such as the Supreme Court of the Philippines and the Court of Appeals; and the offices of the Department of Tourism, the Department of Justice, National Bureau of Investigation (NBI), and the Insurance Commission. The World Health Organization (WHO) Western Pacific regional headquarters are also located near the station.
The vicinity is home to major educational institutions, such as Instituto Cervantes de Manila, Adamson University, Philippine Normal University, Technological University of the Philippines, U.P. Manila College of Arts and Sciences, Santa Isabel College Manila, Emilio Aguinaldo College, Araullo High School, and the Manila Science High School. The National Library, National Museum of Anthropology, and Paco Park are also within steps from this station, as well as the Philtrust Bank headquarters, YWCA of Manila, Waterfront Manila Pavilion Hotel, The Pearl Manila Hotel, Central United Methodist Church (Manila), and Cathedral of Praise. Some of the prominent hospitals are located near this station along UN Avenue, the Manila Doctors Hospital and Medical Center Manila.
United Nations station is connected to a commercial center named Times Plaza, which is similar to a small shopping mall. It is an ideal stop for those heading to the Eva Macapagal Terminal in Port Area, Manila Ocean Park, Robinsons Place Otis, Malacañang Park, and the United States Embassy.
