Unionville Meadows has a steadily improving academic record. As of 2013-2014, it is ranked 276th out of 3037 primary schools in Ontario by the Fraser Institute, with a score of 8.1 (moving up from the previous year). Its average score in the past five years is 7.5, placing it 374th out of 2283 schools. Unionville Meadows Public School also has a strong basketball, volleyball, cross country and badminton program. A night market is held every year around the beginning of June. Unionville Meadows students feed to Markville Secondary School.
