Unforgettable is an upcoming American thriller film directed by Denise Di Novi and written by Christina Hodson and David Leslie Johnson. The film stars Katherine Heigl, Rosario Dawson, Geoff Stults, Isabella Rice, and Cheryl Ladd. Principal photography began on August 17, 2015 in Los Angeles. The film is the directorial debut by Di Novi, who is also producer of the film. It is scheduled to be released on April 21, 2017 by Warner Bros.

Plot
Tessa Connover (Katherine Heigl) is barely coping with the end of her marriage when her ex-husband, David, becomes happily engaged to Julia (Rosario Dawson). Trying to settle into her new role as a wife and a stepmother, Julia believes she has finally met the man of her dreams, the man who can help her put her own troubled past behind her. Tessa's jealousy takes a pathological turn, and she will stop at nothing to turn Julia's dream into the ultimate nightmare.

On January 9, 2014, it was announced that Warner Bros. had hired Amma Asante to direct the female-centric thriller Unforgettable, Denise Di Novi would be producing the film along with Alison Greenspan, while Christina Hodson was penning the script. On December 2, 2014, Kate Hudson and Kerry Washington joined the lead cast of the film, about a man who is being threatened by his ex-wife. On June 22, 2015, after director Asante and actresses Hudson and Washington had left the project, it was revealed that well known producer Di Novi would make her directorial debut with the film. It was also revealed that David Leslie Johnson had co-written the script along with Hodson. On August 12, 2015, Katherine Heigl joined the lead cast of the film to play Tessa Connover, the sly and mentally unstable divorced mother who threatened her ex-husband, daughter and the new wife of her ex-husband. The same day, Rosario Dawson also joined the cast of the film to play the new wife Julia Banks, who tries to fight for her family's life. On August 21, 2015, more cast was announced including Geoff Stults as David, the ex-husband, Isabella Rice as Lily, the daughter, Cheryl Ladd as Heigl's character Connover's mother, Simon Kassianides, Whitney Cummings, and Robert Wisdom.
Ravi D. Mehta and Emanuel Michael were also announced as producers of the film along with other creative team included cinematographer Caleb Deschanel, production designer Nelson Coates, editor Frédéric Thoraval, costume designer Marian Toy.
Filming
Principal photography on the film began on August 17, 2015 in and around Los Angeles. Dawson was spotted filming in Beverly Hills, California. Heigl was spotted with her stunt double, a professional horse rider, Jennifer Sims.
Release
Unforgettable is scheduled to be released on April 21, 2017 by Warner Bros. Pictures.
