Ultrahack is an event and a community with multiple competitions, where solutions are created for corporate, public and NGO challenges. In Ultrahack teams, ideas and software are developed until they're ready for investing.

Ultrahack 2015 (part of Slush Hacks)
Ultrahack 2015 was organized between 6th – 8 November with a purpose of creating new business and to bring more visibility to Finnish programming talent.
Before the main hackathon was a virtual pre-game competition (Ultrahack OS), from which the best ideas and teams were selected to the Ultrahack finals happening the weekend before Slush at Konepajan Bruno. There were eight total challenges in the event from main partners: HUS, Helsinki, TeliaSonera, Nenäpäivä, Tieto, Posti, SAP and Nordea.
The winners of the Ultrahack challenges got to pitch their ideas at Slush with the other Slush Hacks challenge winners and on top of that the best Ultrahack teams got prizes and rewards with the overall prize pot reaching over 100k€. In the end, the winner of Slush Hacks 2015 was Slush Smackdown, from the Junction Hackathon.
Ultrahack 2016
Ultrahack 2016 was launched at Arctic15, with the news that more than 1 million euros would be offered as investments along with other significant prizes. This makes Ultrahack's prize pot the biggest out of any hackathon or startup event in Finland. The best teams will also have an opportunity to meet FiBAN and other investors after the finals.
