UFC Undisputed 3 is a mixed martial arts video game featuring Ultimate Fighting Championship properties and fighters developed by Yuke's and published by THQ. It was released February 14, 2012 in North America and February 17, 2012 in Europe for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. It is a sequel to UFC Undisputed 2010, making it the third and last game to be released under THQ's 2007 agreement with the UFC. The demo was released on January 24, 2012.

UFC Undisputed 3 has improved and added changes from its predecessor, including the following:

UFC roster
The UFC roster was revealed by ESPN.

Alistair Overeem was made available via DLC through a limited time offer on the official Facebook page for UFC Undisputed 3, where users had ‘like’ the page to receive a free DLC token. In addition THQ released the "Fight of the Night" DLC Pack in March 2012, which includes fighters Joe Lauzon, Rory MacDonald, Charles Oliveira, Sam Stout and Anthony Johnson. THQ has also added the "International" DLC Pack in April 2012 which features fighters Chan Sung Jung, John Hathaway, Pascal Krauss, Kyle Noke and Alessio Sakara.

All DLC was later released for purchase on PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Marketplace. As of March 2013, the THQ game servers for online gaming and DLC's are no longer available on PlayStation Network. On late May 2013, the servers on Xbox Live for online ranked matches were also shut down.

The PRIDE Roster was revealed by ESPN.
Sequel
On June 5, 2012, it was announced that THQ had sold the UFC license to Electronic Arts and closed the studio that worked on the franchise. A new title, EA Sports UFC, was released on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One next-gen consoles on June 17, 2014, a sequel was released in Spring 2016.
