Group 4 consisted of Austria, Denmark, the Faroe Islands, Northern Ireland and Yugoslavia. Yugoslavia won the group, but were banned from the final tournament.

Final table

Yugoslavia were placed under sanctions on 30 May 1992 by the United Nations Security Council Resolution 757 after the outbreak of the Yugoslav Wars.[1] FIFA therefore immediately suspended the Yugoslav football team from competitive football, meaning they could not participate in the final tournament. Group runners-up Denmark were invited to take their place in the finals.
