The U.A.E Rugby Player Awards is an award ceremony that aims to commend people from every category of the sport in the United Arab Emirates. The inaugural event in 2014 was held on Thursday 10 April, organised by Sport360 and endorsed by the UAERF (United Arab Emirates Rugby Federation) who intend for the awards to be an annual occasion. Attendance was in the range of 300–400 people for the event and had Rory Lawson, Alain Rolland, Steve Thompson and Jonah Lomu as the star guests who took part in a Q & A session at the ceremony regarding their experiences with the game of Rugby.

The 2015 award ceremony was held on Thursday 9 April, organised by Sport360 and again endorsed by the UAERF (United Arab Emirates Rugby Federation). Attendance was in the range of 300–400 and saw a professional Q & A panel of Steve Thompson, Joe Roff and Brett Gosper discuss the upcoming Rugby World Cup.

Round One

  • Each of the clubs that form part of the UAE Federation’s Premiership and Conference Leagues will put forward nominations for each of the 12 categories.
  • The nominations will be compiled and presented to the UAE Rugby Federation who in turn present them to Sport 360.
  • Round Two

  • Public voting opens
  • All public nominations are collated and presented to the UAE Rugby Federation
  • Round Three

  • The UAE Rugby Committee will make the final decision on the category winners, taking into consideration the public vote.
  • Winners will be announced at the UAE Rugby Annual Awards Dinner on Thursday 10 April at the Montgomerie, Dubai.
