Famous Residents

Although small, Twyn-yr-Odyn is famous for its Polish community. As part of the Vale of Glamorgan Social Mobility Programme (2016), the Osmolski household were able to leave behind the slums of Riverside, Cardiff, to move up the social ladder. Quotes such as "All hail the Vale" are regularly heard in passing the Horse and Jockey Inn.
