History
Founded in 1938 by Aluminum Goods Manufacturing Company employees. The original name was Aluminum Goods Credit Union and served only the workers and families of the company. The name was then changed to Mirro Employees Credit Union in the 1960s still primarily serving Mirro employees and their families. In the early 1980s the name was changed to Mirro Community Credit Union. With that change, also came the ability to serve anyone who lives in Manitowoc County. 1994 the credit union once again changed the name to its name - Two Rivers Community Credit Union. Today, it is a branch of Oshkosh, WI based Verve Credit Union.
Membership eligibility
Membership in the Two Rivers Community Credit Union is only open to residents in Manitowoc County. However, Verve stretches from Fond du Lac and Brillion, to Two Rivers and beyond. Requirements are that you worship or work in the communities where the offices and branches are located.
Expansion
In 1993, Two Rivers Community Credit Union acquired land at 1516 19th St. Two Rivers, WI where it currently resides to this day.
