Tuesday Digital, (established March 3, 2009) was amongst Pakistan's first interactive agencies, providing services in digital brand strategy, media planning and buying, and content creation for interactive media, especially in the field of integrated brand activations and deployment for online media. Established originally as a standalone agency, Tuesday Digital was later merged with the local post-productionanimation house Post Amazers, and functioned as the interactive wing of Post Amazers. Later on when Post Amazers was shut down in November 2010, the team went on to work for Media Idee Digital. Tuesday Digital clients included Dalda as well as younger, funkier brands such as the fashion brand Ego.

History

Tuesday was founded in March 2009 by Salman Abedin, erstwhile CEO at Contract Advertising, Karachi, together with advertising professionals Umair Mohsin, Zakaullah Khan and Voxel Grafix co-founder Irfan Kheiri, with interaction designer Ahmed Ansari joining in May, with a view to bringing digital marketing to an industry that had hitherto seen little development in this area. With its first project with the local tea giant Tapal, and the conceptualization, development and execution of Pakistan's first nationwide digital activation with the cooking oil brand Dalda, Tuesday Digital was later merged with Post Amazers, one of Pakistan's oldest and largest post-production/animation houses, to become a content marketing company. When Post Amazers was shut down in November 2010, the team and clients disbanded to Media Idee Digital, a subsidiary of Media idee, and the pioneering full service digital marketing company in Pakistan, set up in 2006 which continues to grow locally and internationally with a client base now in Sweden, UK, US, Dubai and Pakistan.

Spreading Awareness about Digital Marketing

All of Tuesday Digital's current core team members are heavily involved in the education of digital marketing and interaction design in Pakistan at local universities, and through advertising workshops. Tuesday Digital has been mentioned in the Dawn bi-monthly advertising magazine Aurora, and interviewed on ITLOW.

IxD Lab

As part of its initiative to bring new technologies to the third world and make them feasible and more accessible, Tuesday conducts research as part of its "Interaction Design Lab". Several developments undertaken at the IxD Lab include input mechanisms based on motion capture and intuitive gestures using low-end equipment, and research into the creation of new interfaces for use in the educational sector of Pakistan.
