Troy McLean (born 30 July 1979 in Wellington, New Zealand) is a New Zealand professional basketball player. He is a 1.93m shooting guard.

McLean had a fantastic career with the Wellington Saints dating back to 1996 when he played one game as a 17-year-old. Between 1998 and 2005, McLean played 145 games for the Saints and won a championship in 2003. In 2006, he played for the Harbour Heat where in 18 games, he averaged 16.4 points per game.

Known for his excellent three-point shooting, McLean was a member of the Tall Blacks team that won a silver medal at the 2006 Commonwealth Games. In 2007, he returned to the Saints and went on to win two further championships with the team in 2010 and 2011.

In March 2013, McLean signed with the Manawatu Jets for the 2013 New Zealand NBL season. He returned to the Jets in 2014 for one final season, and played his 300th NBL game on May 3 in a win over the Canterbury Rams.
