If it works out well for me, everything is okay? Ice skating federation and sports day?

There is something you need to know first to figure out the short track problem.

①Korea is a short track speed skating powerhouse. The gap between players' skills and performance is world-class.

②If you become a member of the national team, it is not very difficult to win a medal in an international competition.

③Players, parents, agents, and leaders of their teams are all in on the selection of representatives. It's been a long time since peer consciousness disappeared.

④What matters is my performance. If I do well, I will go to the Olympics, win a medal, receive special exemption from military service and earn a higher salary.

Remember this and look at the latest developments.

■ World No. 1 Park Ji-won failed to win a series of medals. All collided with Hwang Dae-heon

Park Ji-won (Seoul Metropolitan Government) failed to win a medal at the World Championships last week due to fouls by Hwang Dae-heon (Gangwon Province) for two consecutive days. In the 1,000-meter final, he lost balance due to foul play by Hwang Dae-heon and gave up the race after breaking away from the ranks. The referee awarded Hwang a penalty. It was similar in the 1,500-meter final earlier. Park ran to the lead and collided with Hwang on a curved road. Hwang pushed Park to the bottom after going into the in-course, while Park, who lost balance, fell to the bottom. Hwang was the first to cut off the finish line, but was not recognized. The referee declared foul. In the 1,000-meter race final at the World Cup last October, Hwang also received a yellow card for committing a foul that pushed Park Ji-won, who was already running.

Park failed to win a medal in the individual competition at the World Championships, and lost her qualification to automatically select the national team for the next season. She has to pass the selection test in Korea next month. If she fails, she will not be able to represent Korea in the 2024-2025 season and will not be able to participate in the Harbin Winter Asian Games in 2025.

■ 2019 Lim Hyo-joon and Hwang Dae-heon taking off their pants

Hwang Dae-heon filed a complaint against Lim Hyo-joon, a senior at Korea National Sports University, for sexual harassment in 2019. The case was settled two years later.

Lim tried to become a naturalized Chinese citizen during the judicial judgment. Without knowing when or how the final decision of the judiciary would come out, he had to find another way. He was ultimately acquitted in court, but there was no immediate way to recover his national flag. Lim won a gold and bronze medal at the 2018 PyeongChang Olympics and five gold medals at the 2019 Sophia World Championships. With the Oh Sung-hong flag, he won the gold and silver medals at the 2023 Seoul World Championships and became the triple crown at this year's World Championships.
