Baseball is a very mysterious sport.

I think it is the most unfamiliar game since Shohei Ohtani of the LA Angels started baseball.

In an away game against the Colorado Rockies at Coors Field on the 25th (Korea Standard Time), the Angels won 25-1 with 28 hits, including five home runs.

Various records poured out.

Hits and runs are the most in the Angels' history. The Angels' previous most hits were written twice with 26, and the previous most runs scored game was against the Toronto Blue Jays on August 26, 1979, in a 24-2 victory at the time.

The 24-point victory is tied for third place in the category with the highest score difference since 1900. The all-time No. 1 record in this category was 27 points difference from the first game of the doubleheader between the Texas Rangers and the Baltimore Orioles at Camden Yard on August 23, 2007, when Texas won a big 30-3.

It was a day of humiliation for Colorado pitchers. Starter Chase Anderson gave up 10 hits and 2 walks, including 3 home runs, and allowed 9 runs in 2⅔ innings, followed by Matt Caraciti with 4 hits and 2 walks and 6 runs in 3⅓ innings, and third pitcher Noah Davis with 11 hits and 1 walk and 9 runs in 3 innings, respectively.

Last pitcher Carl Kaufman managed to finish the game by blocking the remaining three innings with three hits and one run from the seventh inning.

Colorado coach Bud Black said about starter Anderson after the game, "The ball control was the problem. I'm sure he knows well. There were too many balls pushed between the thighs and the waist. "He had to go near his knee, and the fastball strike zone had to be formed on a high course, but he didn't, and the left and right corner work didn't work," he analyzed.

Angels manager Phil Nevin said: "We were very aggressive. He hit the balls that came into the strike zone well. Hitting is inherently contagious. "To be honest, I found the weakness of the opposing pitcher well, and when I needed it, I got a big hit," he said, expressing satisfaction.

The Angels had hits, RBIs and runs scored by all starting hitters. Leadoff Taylor Ward hit two hits and three RBIs in six at-bats, Mike Trout hit his 17th home run of the season in the third inning, Brandon Drury hit three hits and four RBIs in five at-bats, Matt Thais hit three at-bats and two RBIs in six at-bats, Hunter Renfro hit five hits and four RBIs in five at-bats, and David Fletcher hit six at-bats.

The Angels combined 10 hits and three walks in the top of the third inning with a 2-0 lead and scored 13 points. In particular, leaders Trout, Drury, and Thais hit home runs in three consecutive batters, raising the mood.

What's surprising is that Shohei Otani, the "hotest" in the Angels this year, only had one hit in seven at-bats. It was a game that even Ohtani didn't have to play. On this day, he was a comfortable spectator. The Associated Press commented, "Otani, the leader of major league home runs, had a really quiet night with one hit and one RBI in seven at-bats."

Otani hit Anderson's 84 miles changeup in the middle of the third inning with two outs and runners on first and third bases with a 6-0 lead in the 13th run, leading to a right-handed hit and an RBI. With this RBI, Ohtani is back in the lead in combined RBIs in both leagues with 60 RBIs in the season, along with Boston Red Sox Rafael Devers and Texas Rangers Adolis Garcia. 스포츠중계

Angels starter Canning won his sixth win (two losses) of the season with four hits, seven strikeouts and no runs in six innings. The Angels, who lost three consecutive games, marked 42 wins and 36 losses and regained second place in the AL West. In the wild card, he tied for third place with Toronto.

Meanwhile, Otani will try again to win seven games of the season against the Chicago White Sox at Angel Stadium on the 28th.
