Tristan King (born November 7, 1990) is an American professional Ice Hockey player. He currently plays for the Allen Americans of the ECHL. He was previously under contract to the Dallas Stars of the National Hockey League (NHL).

Playing career

King played four seasons (2006–2010) of major junior hockey in the Western Hockey League (WHL) scoring 50 Goals and 90 Assists for 140 Points, while registering 163 Penalty Minutes in 250 games played.

On September 18, 2009, the Dallas Stars of the National Hockey League signed King as a free agent to a three-year entry-level contract, and he made his professional debut in the American Hockey League with the Texas Stars during the 2010–11 season.

King subsequently played in the ECHL for the Idaho Steelheads, Greenville Road Warriors, Ontario Reign, San Francisco Bulls, Fort Wayne Komets, and Evansville IceMen. On June 16, 2015, King was traded, along with Rocco Carzo, by the Ontario Reign to the Missouri Mavericks of the ECHL to complete the trade of Josh Brittain to the Reign during the 2014–15 season.

On July 9, 2015, King signed a one-year contract with the Mavericks for the 2015–16 campaign. On the eve of the new season King was traded by the Mavericks to the Allen Americans in exchange for Trevor Ludwig on October 11, 2015.
