TransAdelaide operates a number of railway and tram services in Adelaide, South Australia.

Monday to Friday (Day)

Services run at frequencies between 24-36 minutes in off peak, and around every 20 minutes during peak periods.

Weekend (Day), Night & Public Holiday

Services run hourly.

Monday to Friday (Day)

Majority of services run limited express between Adelaide and Gawler stations, running on 1 of 2 different patterns. 'Hi-Frequency' stations have services every 15 minutes, while all other stations are every 30 minutes including in peak hour. A number of express services run between Adelaide and Gawler during peak periods stopping only at Mawson Lakes, Salisbury, Elizabeth, Smithfield and Gawler stations. All services terminate at Gawler or Gawler Central stations.

Weekend (Day) & Public Holiday

All services run half-hourly, with every second service running express between Adelaide and Dry Creek stations. All services terminate at Gawler Central station.

Night

All services run hourly, with all trains running express between Adelaide and Ovingham stations. All services terminate at Gawler Central station.

Monday to Friday (Day)

All services stop at all stations between Adelaide and Grange stations, running every 30 minutes in off-peak and approximately every 20 minutes in peak periods. All services terminate at Grange station.

Weekend (Day), Night and Public Holiday

All services stop at all stations between Adelaide and Grange stations, running every hour. All services terminate at Grange station.

Monday to Friday (Day)

Majority of services run express between Adelaide and Woodville stations, running every 30 minutes in off-peak and approximately every 20 minutes in peak periods. A number of express services run between Adelaide and Ethelton during peak periods. A number of services terminate at Glanville station during peak periods, while all other services terminate at Outer Harbor station.

Weekend (Day), Night & Public Holiday

All services stop at all stations between Adelaide and Outer Harbor stations, running every hour. 30 minute frequency during Saturday mornings and afternoons.

Monday to Friday (Day)

Majority of services run express between Adelaide, Oaklands and Brighton stations, running every 30 minutes in off-peak and approximately every 15 minutes during peak periods. A number of express services run between Adelaide and Seaford, Adelaide and Hallett Cove (stopping at Oaklands and Brighton) and Adelaide and Woodlands Park during peak periods. Limited express services also operate during peak periods in various patterns. Some services terminate at Brighton station during peak periods, while all other services terminate at Seaford station. As of 2014, some services are diesel 3000 class railcars and others are the new electric 4000 class units.

Weekend (Day) & Public Holiday

All services run half hourly running express between Adelaide and Goodwood stations, with every second service running express between Adelaide and Woodlands Park stations. All services terminate at Seaford station.

Night

All services run hourly running express between Adelaide and Goodwood stations. All services terminate at Seaford station.

Monday to Friday (Day)

All services stop at all stations between Adelaide and Tonsley stations, running every hour in off-peak and every 20-30 minutes during peak periods. There are no Weekend, Night or Public Holiday services on this line. The Tonsley Line was closed from February 2012 to support an upgrade including electrification and duplicating the track, and was expected to reopen in May 2014.

Monday to Friday (Day)

All services stop at all stations between Entertainment Centre and Moseley Square (Glenelg), running every 15 minutes, with more frequent services in peak periods. Shuttle services operate between West Terrace and South Tce every 15 minutes during off-peak periods. All services terminate at either Entertainment Centre, West Terrace, South Terrace or Moseley Square.

Weekend (Day), Night & Public Holidays

All services stop at all stations between Entertainment Centre and Moseley Square (Glenelg), running every 15 minutes. All services terminate at either Entertainment Centre or Moseley Square.
