Tourism Development Bank Ltd (NEPSE: TDBL) is a national level development bank in Nepal with its corporate office located in Kathmandu. The bank was established in 2009 and offers a wide range of financial products and services. It has a paid up capital of NPR 780 million and has 15 branches. The bank is also a member of society for worldwide international financial telecommunications SWIFT.
Expansion
Tourism Development Bank has recently completed the acquisition of Kalinchowk Development Bank & Matribhumi Bikas Bank and started joint operation from 8th january 2017. After the acquisition, the paid up capital of the Tourism Development Bank has reached Rs 919.7 million. The deposit base has reached Rs 10500 million, and the bank has floated loans worth Rs 9200 million. The development bank now provides services to more than 100000 customers all over the country from 22 branches, 1 extension counter, and 12 ATM centers.
Further the bank has also seven new branches across the country and started operation from 10th February 2017. The new branches include Itahari, Hetauda, Rajahar, Butwal, Kohalpur, Kalikot and Kalanki. With this the bank now provides modern banking services through 29 branches,1 extension counter and 13 ATM centres.
