The Tour Pies Descalzos (English – "Bare Feet Tour") was the debut concert tour by Colombian singer and songwriter Shakira that took place in 1996 and 1997. All the shows in Brazil were completely sold out. However, a controversy came out in South America due to "pre-recorded material" and bad organization during the shows in Honduras.

Deaths

In the city Barranquilla was a tragedy that resulted in three deaths on the day of the concert. In the Stadium there was overcrowding in which two people died from being trampled, and one teenager killed herself because her parents didn't let her go.
