Toru Araiba (新井場 徹, Araiba Tōru, born July 12, 1979) is a former Japanese football player. He last played for Cerezo Osaka. He is naturally right footed but can use both feet. He mainly plays as a left full back.

Playing career

Araiba was a product of the youth system of Gamba Osaka. He was a member of the Japan U-17 national team for the 1995 FIFA U-17 World Championship finals. He made 2 first team appearances for Gamba in 1997 while he still belonged to their youth team. He signed a professional contract in 1998 and started to play regularly for the club's first team. He received a call-up for the national team by Philippe Troussier in 2001 but has not played a game for Japan. He moved to Kashima Antlers in 2004.
